Regular giving

You can take a key role in the fight against women’s cancers by becoming one of our regular givers, providing a steady and predictable source of funding for women’s cancer research. Regular gifts can be any amount that fits with your budget.

AGCF receives no government funding and all its work relies on donations like yours.

You may wish to make your donation to fund research into a specific type of gynaecological cancer – ovarian, cervical, uterine, endometrial, vulval etc. If so, please email [email protected].

AGCF’s Regular Giving program is facilitated through GiveNow. You can sign up to donate regularly (e.g. monthly) by clicking on the link below. There are many reasons to partner with a not-for-profit and we believe great partnerships are tailored to meet both your business objectives and our vision to raise awareness of gynaecological cancers as well as much needed funds for research.

AGCF works with companies across corporate sponsorship, employee/workplace giving, corporate volunteering, philanthropy, event sponsorship and pro-bono services.

We appreciate your support!

Make a bequest

When you name the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation (AGCF) in your will, you create a legacy of hope for women and their loved ones facing gynaecological cancer.

In supporting the work of the AGCF by leaving a bequest, you can help:

  • Increase awareness that will lead to early detection and successful treatments for gynaecological cancers
  • Fund vital gynaecological cancer research well into the future
  • Most crucially – save lives and make them better.

No amount is too small to help AGCF. Whatever the contribution you make, you can be sure that the AGCF will use your gift wisely. By supporting much needed research in this area, your bequest will help benefit Australian women and their families affected by gynaecological cancer. You can make a bequest to leave money for a particular type of gynaecological cancer research eg. endometrial cancer, if you so desire.

3 easy steps when creating or changing your will

Please note that this is not legal advice or tax advice or any other sort of advice. AGCF recommends that you seek professional advice for estate planning, to suit your individual circumstances.

Suggested wording

“I give and bequeath to the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation for their work in funding research into the prevention of, screening for and treatment of gynaecological cancers in Australia

[list here the percentage] percent of my estate, and/or
[list here the percentage] percent of the residue of estate, and/or
[list here the specific amount of money or items],

free of all death and estate duties and I declare that the official receipt of the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my Executors.”

*delete words that do not apply

Bequest types can be combined. For example, a bequest could include a fixed amount followed by “or,” then a percentage of the residual, followed by the words “whichever is the greater,” to help ensure a minimum size of a bequest.

If you wish your bequest to benefit research into a particular type of gynaecological cancer, e.g. endometrial cancer, ensure that you specify this in your will.

Talking points for family members

Making provision for a charity in your will is about including a charity, not excluding your family. We believe there is room to consider both. By including a charity in your will you will be helping to build a more supportive community for your own children, grandchildren and other family members, which is something they will appreciate if they ever unexpectedly find themselves in need.

Gifts left in wills are a vital part of AGCF’s budget income. Gifts from people like you will help fund a huge number of worthy programs and activities, notably research into cancer prevention and treatment. When you leave a gift in your will, you provide a critical source of funding for AGCF to continue its important work, long into the future. You can feel confident your gift will be used to help many Australians.

Your gift will have a lasting impact. AGCF’s aim is to ensure that research findings funded by AGCF will change the way gynaecological cancers are prevented and managed. Your gift will also indirectly help AGCF achieve much needed change in key policy areas.

In making a bequest you will be joining many others. Every year gifts left to charity in wills provide help for millions of Australians, including things like research and support for those affected by disease or disability.

All family members can take pride in decisions about charitable bequests they value and support. Here’s a helpful link:
