Carmen Duncan Fundraising Lunch

On November 28, we celebrated the life of lovely Carmen Duncan. A beloved mother, grandmother and sister – she sadly passed away from vaginal cancer earlier this year.

Her sister, Paula Duncan AM wanted to keep her legacy alive and raise important funds for gynaecological cancer research so that other families don’t have to go through what they did.

The event was a beautiful celebration of a life well-lived. Surrounded by friends, family and supporters there was a lot of love and laughter in the room. And importantly, an impressive $55,000 was raised for research.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the cause. A special thank you to Peter Cousens, Jean Kitson, Jane Rutter, Catherine Alcorn and the outstanding generosity of Martin Wren, CEO of NOVA Employment.

And finally, a big thank you to Carmen Duncan’s family. Paula, Warren, Amelia and Duncan turned their tragedy into hope for other women.
