Celebrate the life of Annette McClure at the Symphony of Annette

Annette McClure was a much-loved music teacher and beautiful Mum to her two children, Luke and Kate. Sadly in 2019, Annette passed away from endometrial cancer, the most common gynaecological cancer diagnosed in Australian women.

To celebrate her life and raise funds for the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation, Luke and Kate are proud to host the Symphony of Annette. This beautiful evening of music, champagne, family and friends promises to be a wonderful tribute to an equally wonderful woman.

A message from Annette’s children
To celebrate the life of our beautiful mum Annette, we have decided to host an event in her honour, raising funds for the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation.

The Symphony of Annette is an event where everyone who was a part of her life can come together. Mum touched so many people’s hearts and brought so much joy, laughter and love to all of our lives. This is an opportunity to reminisce, share stories, listen to music, drink champagne and remember what an amazing and beautiful person she was and will continue to be remembered for.

The Symphony of Annette is a ticketed fundraising event featuring canapés on the balcony, followed by a three-course sit-down meal and of course flowing champagne – we couldn’t hold an event for Mum without bubbles! Throughout the evening we will be treated to several outstanding musical performances, and hear from guest speaker Professor Neville Hacker, one of the founders of the AGCF.

On the night we will have a live auction and a raffle with all prizes generously donated. All funds raised will be donated to the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation. The AGCF is the only Australian foundation focused on funding research into all gynaecological cancers. As you may know, Mum passed away from endometrial cancer, the most common gynaecological cancer diagnosed in Australian women and one which has very little research funding allocated.

The dress code is A Night at the Opera.

We can’t wait to see you all soon to celebrate the life of our beautiful Mum – the Symphony of Annette.

Love Luke & Kate x
